SHADOWLIGHT
Light anew
Beyond the darkness of souls and in between
A renewed sense of self and faith
And yet, I stumble,
Upon myself, the vines of others, the intertwined feelings of a collective consciousness falling beneath all hope and reverence.
Light anew, light unfolden.
Unbroken.
Light anew and in the trenches of my souls and hearts
It echoes to the vibration of truth. Truths.
It shakes, it shivers,
For fear of the shadow, for fear of its disappearance, for fear...
Light anew, all around, all abound, all between
Through our blood, our veins, our bliss, our pains.
Light anew.
Joy and freedom through the shadowlands!
Light anew.
Let the light enthral our bodies to exhaustion, to the shadows, to a never ending dance of souls, whispers and wisdom.
Light anew. And in the shadowlands, they merge.
Shadows anew. Lightlands.
Shadowlight
Light shadows
And everything in between.
I am light. I am shadow. And so are we.
This poem is the second part of the diptych, “Shadowlands/Shadowlight”.
This week welcomed us to a new light, a new era, with more light than shadows, a renewed sense hope, the becoming of a new cycle. Now, is our time to bring hope, light, love, magic to the world, and stop believing than only darkness is possible.
With that in mind, traipsing in the snow this morning, reading poetry from friends and strangers, finding inspiration in the now, I’m excited to share Olivier and I’s first healing performance Lava Rocks, next Saturday, the 30th of November at Tills & Company in Portobello, Edinburgh, at 6pm, for Fair Saturday Scotland.
We’ll bring to you an hour of poetry, songs, intuitive music and words and healing moments, in joy, light and love. We’d be delighted to see you and meet you there if you’re around.
With much love and light,
Thank you,
Lucie and Olivier
